Electa in front of the bus station to San Jose and Alajuela 150 meters North of the Banco National. This is a place where you can have a nice coffee and a good breakfast and meet expats in the morning. William and his daughter Daniella and the whole crew are the best and always have a smile for you, they also remember your name after a view times.

La Casa de Miguel
La Casa Miguel does have some pretty decent food. Let’s start with the drinks.
There is a small bar area, where you can order alcoholic drinks like mixed drinks typical bottled beers (Imperial, Bavaria and a few others).
The menu has a good assortment of different foods. Appetizers range from mozzarella fingers, chifrijo, patacones, chicharron, ceviche, chalupa, french fries... Not bad prices, either.

Things to do in and around Grecia.
First of all you visit the Grecia’s church, Iglesia de la Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes, its the most interesting structure in Grecia. Standing in the center of the town with the park in the front.
The church is the center of most towns in Costa Rica; the towns social core, the origin of all directions.
However, Grecia’s church is unique – both because it is RED and because it is made entirely of prefabricated metal sheets.
The Poás Volcano is one of the major attractions in the Central Valley region, one of the most visited national parks, and a great day trip add-on for any Costa Rica vacation itinerary. The Poás Volcano, (Spanish: Volcán Poás), is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano in central Costa Rica. It has erupted 39 times since 1828.
There are two crater lakes near the summit. The northern lake is known as the Lacuna Clientele ("hot lagoon") and is located at a height of 2,300&NBS;m in a crater approximately 1.7 km wide and 290–300&tbsp;m deep. It is one of the world's most acidic lakes. The acidity varies after rain and changes in volcanic activity, sometimes reaching a pH of almost 0; consequently, it supports little or no aquatic life. The bottom of this lake is covered with a layer of liquid sulfur. Acid gases create acid rain and acid fog, causing damage to surrounding ecosystems and often irritation of eyes and lungs.
Lake Botos, the southern lake, fills an inactive crater, which last erupted in 7500 BC. It is cold and clear, and is surrounded by a cloud forest located within the Poás Volcano National Park.
