John Brewer Agent Grecia Real Estate
The Season of giving thanks and giving to others is here. I look at this as an opportunity to do more than talk. I love Costa Rica and its people that is why I am here. Since arriving I have seen how I can make a difference doing what I love. My belief is that by helping people you enrich your live and as an example teach others that helping others need not be a big sacrifice. Many people come to me for answers and I like a challenge. It seems natural to use my resourcefulness to help others. After multiple request for help from people trying to sell there home I have joined forces with Chris Schoo, his company is the most professional and honest I have seen in the Grecia area. Our goal is sell property in less time than others and offer a more professional service. I love working with others in an effort to make things better. I invite anyone to bring me a client , buying or selling and I will reward them with $250 when a sale is complete. I also donate 25% of my commission to a charity of the CLIENTS CHOOSING. This is no gimmick . To those who know me they see my two charities Vino Tres Amigoes and MMA "Mi Madres Angels have been helping for years. Join me and make a difference. EVERY ONE WINS. I AM HERE FOR YOU . 8400-1929

This restaurant is really good! The owner, Johnny Lara, and his wife opened this pretty restaurant right next to the Post Office in downtown Grecia. Johnny lived in Southern California, speaks English well and is familiar with Tex Mex cuisine. His chef is also Mexican. The menu is interesting in that you place your order for taco salad, burritos, quesadillas, etc. at a big food bar and they add whatever toppings or fillings you want. Everything is fresh and made to your taste. They have a roast pork that spins on a pit similar to Gyro meat in the states.
The place is extra clean, everything is new and they play North American music.

Things to do in and around Grecia.
First of all you visit the Grecia’s church, Iglesia de la Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes, its the most interesting structure in Grecia. Standing in the center of the town with the park in the front.
The church is the center of most towns in Costa Rica; the towns social core, the origin of all directions.
However, Grecia’s church is unique – both because it is RED and because it is made entirely of prefabricated metal sheets.
The Poás Volcano is one of the major attractions in the Central Valley region, one of the most visited national parks, and a great day trip add-on for any Costa Rica vacation itinerary. The Poás Volcano, (Spanish: Volcán Poás), is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano in central Costa Rica. It has erupted 39 times since 1828.
There are two crater lakes near the summit. The northern lake is known as the Lacuna Clientele ("hot lagoon") and is located at a height of 2,300&NBS;m in a crater approximately 1.7 km wide and 290–300&tbsp;m deep. It is one of the world's most acidic lakes. The acidity varies after rain and changes in volcanic activity, sometimes reaching a pH of almost 0; consequently, it supports little or no aquatic life. The bottom of this lake is covered with a layer of liquid sulfur. Acid gases create acid rain and acid fog, causing damage to surrounding ecosystems and often irritation of eyes and lungs.
Lake Botos, the southern lake, fills an inactive crater, which last erupted in 7500 BC. It is cold and clear, and is surrounded by a cloud forest located within the Poás Volcano National Park.
